How to do it

Grab your camera, or use the camera on your cell phone, and take a walk today. Take 3 pictures of whatever you see that excites you: the sunset, your favorite landmarks, or pets or wildlife you meet along the way. If you already have a walking routine, try taking a different route instead, or ask a friend or family member to join you, and compare photos once you've finished your walk.

Why it matters

Making time for a daily walk can help lower cholesterol, reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, and increase bone strength.
