Identify a problem that has been worrying you, then write it down and brainstorm 2 solutions.
How to do it
Write down one problem or issue that you are concerned about. Spend a few moments thinking of two solutions, and then write the solutions next to the problem. If there is one solution that seems stronger, circle it and think about how to implement it.
Why it matters
When we're really worried about an issue, it's easy to spend time over-thinking it. With too much thinking and too little action, people become stressed about a problem. Taking the action to brainstorm solutions and select one to potentially put into action lessens some of the stress created by the problem.
The song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1988. It was the first a capella song to do so.
my daugther wants to be a flag girlfriend but she is costing me more money on this than i have since i have not job. I am letting her continue and i am going pray God helps me work this out.
Too much month left at the end of the paycheck. Solution 1 cut spending even more, which isn't very possible since i've already cut most of my extra spending completely out of the budget, with the 10% pay cut at work, it's been hard. Solution 2 find a new job. On it! Actively searching. And praying. it's hard.
this has been done, I started on a self help journey about 2 years ago, the biggest part of it has been to get GOD back in my life.
I have been doing this quite a bit lately... it does help
This was really a good thing, really helped.. :))
well, thank you! i'm feeling good!
My Bible studies....Not enough time in a day.
I made an allotted time frame for myself, in the evening ...
Everything is quiet at night....I relax and do my studies....
I try not to worry much about anything, I just pray & turn my concerns over to God, or I try to make changes if there is something I can do. However, I have some things to accomplish that I never seem to get done, so I'm going to be better about making some to-do lists, breaking the somewhat overwhelming projects down into smaller tasks, & prioritizing. I'm usually pretty good at this, but sometimes I get kinda sidetracked about it.
Been having a lot of personal problems lately, so this is something I have been doing to try and help. Still working on those solutins though
