Emotional Health focuses on daily experiences related to happiness, enjoyment, sadness, and stress in evaluating overall well-being.
Listen to 2 of your favorite songs.
How to do it
Which songs make you feel good and give you a sense of joy? Play them on the way to work, on your mp3 player while you're taking a walk, or tune into your favorite radio station as you make dinner. Aim to keep the music on for at least two songs. It doesn't matter if it's country, R&B, or classical, or if the tempo is fast or slow, as long as the music is playing.
Why it matters
Listening to music is not only fun, it also has a positive effect on health and well-being! It lowers the risk of depression, boosts energy, and stimulates positive thinking. It can even help with relaxation: one study found that listening to music for 60 minutes reduced anxiety as effectively as a therapeutic massage.
Research shows that shoppers are more apt to give into impulse purchases when instrumental or classical music is playing in the store.

I listened to an abundance of my favorite songs. Google Music will upload all of your music from your computer (I uploaded 2011 songs!) for you to listen to anywhere you have internet. Just so happens I have a Sony Google TV with additional speakers attached. So this is my background music while doing house work, working out, and other things. Loving it!
