Well this is a good stretch out after yesterday! Went to the theater - the rest room is one floor down so did a real set of stairs coming back up - actually more like a double set for this building. The theater was on the 9th floor and after the production the lines for the elevators were long ... so we hit the stairs. I have more trouble with my knees going downstairs than up, but did really well all the way down - good pace, controlled, hand skimming (not cliinging to) the railing, and noone impatiently piling up behind me! My knees feel it this morning, not so much in terms of swelling inside, but the surrounding muscles having been worked in a manner they don't usually get. Will do more sets of the imaginary climbing and take a good real walk, too!

"The Birds" at The Guthrie. It was wonderful. We're enjoying our Staycation by doing some things we just never do at home, like going to the theater. Tomorrow it's "Hairspray" at the Chanhassen and later in the week it's the latest permutation of the "Church Basement Ladies" at the Plymouth Playhouse!

I live in a 3 level home and am up and down these stairs "all" day long so this was easy.

Don't the 80 stairs I climb to get to my office count!! I will try this one this afternoon to give myself a break from staring at the computer. Office has a very nice sturdy wall for just such an activity.

I don't have to imagine this one. Today I've planned a nice hike up to a look out on top of Buffalo Mountain. I have to mow the lawn first though. I haven't been to see this choice spot yet, even though it's only a few miles from my house. I'm pretty stoked. OR...I might just go walk a few miles on the AT (Appalachian Trail) at Roan Mountain. Another wonderful place to walk and see views that are spectacular! Pupster has to stay home. He can't ride the motorcycle.

Nice easy one for today. This house has lots of stairs , so in addition to the DC, I'll be up and down them many times today---often carring a baby or toddler.
