Challenge- This is a repeat, but I am not sure which track I had it on.
I did it...I skied...but I confusing a bit - just as it was last time...I used to ski, but not as described in these directions...I felt like I was playing 'TWSTER'- the game...LOL . Maybe I am just not on today.... IDK ~ Well, at least it didn't hurt =))

I used to do this exercise in the shallow water aerobics class I took, I don't think I'll ever take up the sport of skiing because it is a winter sport and my body doesn't react well to the cold any more. The president has seen fit to interupt my soap operas today. I would have rather he interupt The Talk or Ellen, rather than The Young and Restless and The Bold and Beautiful. Exercise for Everyone Work your arms and core: Ski down an imaginary mountain for 30 seconds while seated.
How to do it
Sit with your hands in your lap and your hands curled into loose fists. Bend your elbows and raise both fists toward your left shoulder, then straighten your arms and pull your fists across your body toward your right hip. Bend your elbows to bring your fists from your right hip to your right shoulder, then straighten your arms and pull them toward your left hip. Round your spine as you pull your fists to your hips and straighten it as you bring them back up to your shoulders. Repeat six more times.
Why it matters
Skiing is a great workout, but it's also very hard on your muscles and joints (not to mention your wallet!). Mimicking the act of moving down a mountain by pulling your arms down across your body engages your shoulder and upper back muscles and your triceps. You're also engaging the core muscles of your abdominals and lower back. Curling and straightening your spine as you do this will also help to improve core strength and posture.
