Harder than it seems!!!!
I think I'm going to add this exercise to my daily routine--maybe something to do at the office when I've been sitting too long. My knees felt better after doing this.
Hmmmm.... felt pretty good!!
I sat on the bed and did it. After I went for an hour walk and 15 minutes worth of toning of course!

I need all the stretching and strengthening I can get. These should help.
How to do it
Sit up straight and toward the front edge of your chair. Lift your right knee up, flex your foot (point your toes to the ceiling) and extend your leg out in front of you. Then pull your heel back in toward you, and place your foot back on the floor. Repeat four more times on the right, then switch and stretch your left leg five times.
Why it matters
This is a great way to strengthen your quadriceps muscles and work the tendons and ligaments that support your knee joints without putting extra weight on them. Keeping your knee joints limber will improve range of motion and can assist with managing pain.
You are on Day 3 of your pact with Heather D. Awesome Heather I see you are way on it.
A friend invited me out for breakfast after our power walk so you know what took me so long. LOL
This challenge turns out to be a good stretch to do after walking. i did hear my knees pop but that's okay its good to stretch out a bit.
It is a rainy Monday which made walking a bit damp but we didn't melt so we kept on walking.
have a great day everyone!
ok, wasn't sure about this one. Ilaid on my side and did leg lifts touching my toe to the floor and lifting up.
Done but going to do this one later at work as well. Felt like a good stretch.
Sat in a kitchen chair and knocked them out. Slowing down today after a hectic weekend. Not stopping (no time for that) but just not hitting it hard as I have been.
Day 4, Mickey!
