This is an interesting challenge. There are not too many people that I am uncomfortable with but if I find someone, I will use non-threatening body language with them. I did come across an issue with a cashier yesterday at McDonalds which made me mad but I backed off. I was going through the drive through to grab my grandsons some chicken nuggets and paid at the first window as requested, then went to the second window and was told that my food would be up in 3 minutes and would I please move up and they would bring my food to me. I told the cashier that I appreciated the information but since no one was behind me, I would just sit and wait there. She said that I should move up and the food would be out shortly. I thanked her and said that I went through there drive through for my food not the drive through and wait line so if they would hurry along and give me my food, I would be on my way. I did say this all in a cheery voice with a smile on my face.
Day #1 of our pact, Susan. Woo Hoo!!! Thanks to Susan, Terzah and Bev for the encouragement this morning. I really appreciated it. I was so busy today that I just got to the challenge. I had such fun with the grandsons playing outside, baking and bike riding. I even got the quad out and gave them rides around the neighborhood.
