PIntrest is fantastic for this! But my husband has a calendar with Dilbert Cartoons on his desk and he shares them with me everyday. Today's cartoon was just like out IT department. :-)

I looked up "troll" faces, they are usually pretty funny when used in the right context. There were a few funny ones but just pictures aren't funny. The point was I got the funny picture so that's what matters! lol

I have a friend that I used to work with that puts the funniest photos on FaceBook every day. They always make me laugh out loud!

They did a survey once about being able to tell what type of person you are by what you read first in the newspaper. The results showed that those who read the headlines were ones were always on the go, and generally stressed out; those who read the obits were morbidly searching for friends that may have gone before them; those who read the sports section were ex-jocks, or wanna be jocks; and those who read the comics were ones who looked on the bright side of things and had a good sense of humor. So....I'm one that reads the comics first...then the headlines and then the obits....guess I got my bases covered (although I'm not a wanna be jock!! LOL!!).
Today's challenge is right up my alley!! My favorite comic by far is Garfield. I mean who doesn't love a fat lazy cat who loves lasagna (hmmmm ... possibility for tonight's dinner!! LOL!!) and besides, his birthday happens to be very close to my own!! So I searched for my MOST favorite Garfield clip, and really didn't have to go too far... a couple of Sunday's ago this one appeared:
Laughed soooo hard my butt hit the floor and my psycho kitty ran away in terror!!
Now my second most favorite comic is Calvin and Hobbes... Just love the adorable tiger and that lil boy!
Anyway...another dreary day in PA!! Hope this will get a giggle out of you guys ... you know, as the "why it matters" states, "this stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles ... also increases the amount of.. 'feel good' chemicals that your brain releases" Because we all need to feel good ... right???
Ok...so for today's music selection, I decided to go with one that I used to chant while I was still working as a teacher...the funny thing is that the school was directly below the State Mental Hospital...so we didn't have far to go when things got bad!! LOL!! Enjoy...

Hard to define which of 3 in today's newspaper I liked best, "Blondie", or "Dennis the Menace" or "Beetle Bailey". All 3 appealed to my funny bone.
PA has been rainy and cloudy with temp in 60's. I am awaiting return call from cardiologist's office on appointment or advice for bp, which has been up for about a week or longer.
Hope everyone has a nice Wednesday.

Good morning and happy hump day! And happy Day 2 Lisa Renae!
So, I'm 14 today and I obviously have had issues over the years getting my bangs just right! :-) In my defense, this was the style back then.... And this is what happens to my hair within 2 weeks of that ever popular "spiral perm" from back in the day, too. My hair is straight striaght straight and refused to do much else.
Yay! Fun funny challenge for a mid-week chortle. I love the funny pages, it's always the part of the newspaper I read first so the "news news" doesn't bring me down too badly.
However some of my very favorites are no longer "in circulation" such as:
Gary Larson's "The Far Side" www.thefarside.com
Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes
Thankfully, though, we are still graced with:
Jim Davis' "Garfield" www.garfield.com
Darby Conley's "Get Fuzzy" www.gocomics.com/getfuzzy
And if nothing else, you can look at my profile pic and get a laugh out of my bangs! :-) (It's okay, I'm laughing with you!)
Have a great day and today's song is a favorite from about the time that I was 14:

It is all great! Yesterday was just sort chaotic with trying to move stuff out of the way of the construction people, wrangling the dogs back and forth, then Lotus went out the front window when I was in the restroom! I had taken Eddie with me because 100 pound butt would not stay put and Donald had gone to get us lunch. She was laying on her pillow asleep and when the guys took a break she bolted! The little @#$%! I was running around the house and the yard dragging Edward with my whistling and yelling for her. I am sure I looked like a lunatic! Then one of the workers asked what was going on and I told him. The worst part is hawks have tried to get her before and she only 14 pounds. He said they would keep an eye out. Next thing I knew he brought her in and he was laughing and said she was across the street on our neighbors porch! He asked if she has doggie friends over there?!! lol I said noooooo it is Bob this older gentleman she loves him! Good grief!

Believe me, after the crappy day I had yesterday, I'm spending plenty of time on icanhascheezburger (mainly ihazahotdog) and the "humor" page of pinterest today.

I like the funny!
George Takei posts a lot of funny pictures on his facebook page so I usually see a fair number on there: https://www.facebook.com/ge...
Here's a site I found a few weeks ago called Texts From Dog, showcasing a series of text messages between a dog and his owner (WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT): http://textsfromdog.tumblr....
Then there's Cyanide & Happiness (WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT again): http://www.explosm.net/comi...
And this one is one of my favorites of theirs: http://www.explosm.net/comi...
Another favorite is The Oatmeal! It has comics videos and lots of random stuff: (WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT again)http://theoatmeal.com/
Here is my favorite comic of theirs: http://theoatmeal.com/comic...
Fun Fact: You need to smile almost a quarter of a million times to create one wrinkle.
So if you never stop smiling, you'll never get a wrinkle, right? :-)
Song Of The Day is "F**k You" (Do I really need to warn you about the explicit content in this one?) by Garfunkel and Oates: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Have a great day everyone :-)
