Healthy Behaviors is about lifestyle habits, namely healthy eating and physical activity, which have proven connections to lifelong health and disease prevention.
Post a list of the produce currently in your fridge to remind you to eat your fruits and veggies.
How to do it
Take a look in your refrigerator and make a list of all the fruits and vegetables you find. Post this list somewhere that is easily visible in your kitchen. If you have young children, draw small pictures of what you found, next to the words. (Or ask them to illustrate it!)
Why it matters
It's easy to forget to eat fresh produce if it's jammed in the crisper or has drifted to the back of the refrigerator. When you're hungry and ready to eat a snack or make a meal, a handy list will keep those healthy fruits and vegetables top of mind, so you can benefit from the vitamins, minerals, fiber, and energy that produce provides. As a bonus, you won't waste hard-earned money on produce that goes bad and needs to be thrown out.

Seriously? I really think this challenge is a waste of time. Who does this. If you purchase it, you should know what you have on hand. Besides, who doesn't go in their fridge "EVERYDAY" to notice what's on hand. I'm not a negative person, but let's get real. Anyway, I eat fruits & veggies practically all day, everyday. This has been BIG on my list the past couple of weeks -
One thing I do to remember my produce is that I put them in clear glass bowls in my fridge so hey they are bright and smiling at me when I open the door.
The kids can just reach in and grab a handful of berries or beans!
I have always found that having food readily available AND looking inviting makes it easy to eat!!!

I have barely any produce in my fridge, an onion, cranberries, lettuce, ginger, and garlic. I have to fast today to do a lab test tomorrow but it is a good reminder to eat more fruits and veggies. Now that I have my foodstamps I can fill my fridge with more vegetables.
