Physical Health comprises questions on topics a doctor may talk about, like Body Mass Index, daily energy, physical pain, history of illness, and medical conditions.
Plan to buy a new furnace filter or ask your building's super if the furnace filter is up to date.

I haven't thought about this since I've moved into an apartment last April. I have electric heat now. I will call my management company on Monday to ask about this! My ex-husband took care of this every 3 months in our house.
Laurie C. replied May 5, 2012 at 17:18 UTC:
Jennifer C. states that electric heat does not require filters. I am going to call management anyway and ask about the hot water tanks being checked yearly and anything else that might need checking on.

Did that last week when the AC started leaking water. So a little late, but the leak stopped. Bought 2 filters, so we would not wait as long next time. I miss the days of living in an apartment when they came by once a month and changed it!

Our furnace does not have a filter since we use a boiler system and radiators for heat. There eis an air-handler for the AC in the bedroom so I will venture into that space and check out the filter on that (it should have one) and plan to replace it. Happy Day 1, Pau.....off to "sit" and then to "do" the day. Enjoy the weekend everyone! Namaste!
We had a different dog walk today as the school's lawn service where we walk around decided that it was "lawn care" day and we were not walking through those chemicals. We did find a route free of those time release "bombs" and they are peacefully sleeping now...just no off-leash time for the Bear-man today.

So glad i have a healthy place to walk Schatzi I know that these 12 acres have no chemicals . Today we start learning to walk with a halter and leash Just found on small enough to fit her. thanks John

I'm guessing those chemicals will linger. Will you be finding a new place for the Bear-man to run?

I change the furnace filter before time to use it in the fall and in the spring before time to use A/C. It's on my Home Depot list and I'm going there Monday. Thing I hate is my filter is not a standard size so I have to get one you can cut to size.
Day 2, Sherree. You must be an early bird, you beat me again this AM. I was going to send you encouragement and some extra points! Oh, well, I'm sending you happy thoughts instead.

I thought my furnace had stopped working out but I can hear it right now--quite a noisy housemate. I should feed it a filter. I have not done so recently because I thought the cold season was over. I hope you find all that you need at Home Depot, Pat!

We do ours every 6 months and do fine with that.

Good morning, DC friends ...
... and a big WOOHOO and shout-out to Carol S. as we set out on Day 5 of our pact ... we are almost there ... :)
I rent an apartment in a house, and lost my heat for a day a couple months ago. Landlord had the furnace guys here and i know they did a total overhaul ... everything was cleaned out, repaired and made good-to-go again.
Wishing all of you the most pleasant and sunniest of day today ... i'm working, but am a-ok with that simply because i feel GREAT today ... :)

As far as I know, we do not have a furnace in this building. Even if we did, asking the super to do anything is a pain you know where. I always have to go to his superiors to get anything done. He is a lazy bum and I do not know why they still pay him.
Hubby is at a CPR class today for his driver's license. I am going to tidy the flat up quickly, eat breakfast, do some yoga and EFT. Later tonight, we are going to our favorite Indian restaurant for dinner. Yay. Looking forward to that.
Hope everyone is having a blessed Saturday.

I had Beef Bhuna. Always ordering this. I absolutely love the taste of it and yesterday it was even better than usually. Fabulous.

Where I live we do not have furnaces let alone the filters :-D
Some places and people have air coolers which have filters or AC but I do not have either

Doesn't India just have 2 seasons - rainy and not rainy?
Deanna W. replied May 5, 2012 at 16:03 UTC:
In Bangalore India where I stay there are 3 seasons:
1) Winter, which feels like spring or fall weather in the midwest (USA) but without the rain
2) Rainy season (usually with a pre-monsoon and then monsoon)
3) Summer - where we roast like ears of corn :-D
No need for furnaces here as the temps rarely drop below 50 C
