Already planned to do this yesterday so I will do this tomorrow!!!
I hope Saturday would count. :)
Thank you, Mary for the encouragement.
Given my schedule this week, it is either going to have to be tomorrow morning or Friday morning (but the weather looks like it might not cooperate -- rainy and COLD). Maybe a really short one tomorrow morning, depending on how damp it looks. Today's weather was glorious, but I spent most of it inside helping people sort out their problems (somebody's got to do it!).
Hope that the start of everyone's week was awesome and that this week's pact with my friend, Abby is a blast! I am sure it will be.
Ok, I'll walk Thursday morning before the funeral. Might be a nice way to clear my head, and it's not supposed to rain.
Okay...but this is silly! I go for a walk EVERY night (unless its raining!). I love walking in the evenings and it's the 1st thing I want to do after I eat dinner. Jimmy & I walk together and recap our day. It's a nice relaxing time and I wish we could go on even longer walks. Walking in the morning will mean I'll have to do it sans Jimmy, and I purposefully get up at the same time every morning- as that is the best way to ensure you get enough good sleep- so I will NOT change my clock. Since I always save about 20 minutes each morning to relax and check my e-mail or play a game, I will have to forgo that for a walk. However, I will STILL take my evening walk. This track isn't really made for folks who already walk. :/
I put it on tomorrow's schedule!!!!

I'm going to go with Saturday, since most other days, I am up before sunrise, and out the door to work shortly after...and, I guess, I usually walk most mornings...but never on Saturdays, so that'll be a nice change. :)

Well, friends, this posting is going to be short. The Grand Procession will take place on Tuesday, that's tomorrow at 6 am. In case of rain, pouring down hard rain that an umbrella does little good with, The Grand Procession will take place on the next sunlite morning at the same stated time. What more can I say other than I am NOT a morning person (but maybe it will help me sleep better!).
The Daily Challenge instructions were:
"How to do it
Pick a day this week that you'll go for a short walk first thing in the morning. To help make it happen, have your shoes or sneakers and comfortable clothes next to where you sleep. Set your alarm for a time that will allow you to take your walk, eat breakfast, and prepare for your day without feeling rushed.
Why it matters
By the end of the day, it's easy to feel drained and tired. The idea of going for a walk at that point might feel overwhelming and like the last thing you want to do. However, in the morning - after a good night's rest - your mind and body are ready to exercise. A quick morning walk can set you up for success and leave you feeling more energized all day long.
In Oregon each year there are groups of walkers and runners alike that participate in the 200-mile (321 km) "Hood to Coast" relay every year. The first wave of the relay begins at 3:30 AM."
Queenie, I am so heartfully sorry to have our pact end today. It has been my pleasure to have been your humble pact partner and I truly look forward to repeating it very soon. You are a love and a lady and you are the Queen.
Many smiles and hugs until tomorrow when you can expect an early morning posting after my step-drag early morning Procession. Love to all,
how about Weds morning? sounds good to me...
I take short walks every day, once I am out to feed the horses it starts a cycle of... either let all dogs out of their beds and walk with them or.. if hubby has already taken the 2 pups to their day quarters, I walk up to the two dogs that have to stay in their yard (because they want to play "adventure trips" and that is not good in the country with chicken at the neighbors to the south, ... just don't want to take any chances.. coyotes roam close often and cars down on the road... but ChilliPup is head of security and she stays home, keeps the fence line free of birds, rabbits...if she sees them, and stray dogs are a no-no to her.. anyway, I walk & let the two out to walk with us, half-way to the mailbox then around in the pasture some, quite a bit of frisbee chase, ball toss and petting.. I have one tree that I always walk to then back..
But I will plan to walk at the little lake at Medi-park tomorrow, a mile & a-half paved trail around lake, lots of geese & ducks, the dogs love to go and I've not been for awhile.. not this year yet.. so a great idea. :-) It's on my calendar... so as long as no rain.. or I will go the next day. It's a nice 60 degrees, windy enough to put strain on a kite string but maybe not break it.. hummm... on second thought, I think it would break it.. yep, too strong for a kite, but makes the frisbee go further!
My painted Tee's are in production, a couple more are dry now, 5 more are ready to paint and several naked ones to work on yet.. and I have a dozen or so thoughts of what to write on them... like... Rose with the Pearl Earring... Bloomalisa... Eat, Pray, Bloom... several others :-)) I'm having fun with my whimsies for the gardenfest.
Princess, you are right, day 7, :-) hey.. let's make up a meal fit for a dragon okay.. I'll fix 19 smoked wild hogs, dragons love smoked stuff ya' know.. heehee. Now you think of something to add, just one item, (altho can be more than one of same item..), others may want to add something too... we'll see what all we get by Friday for a feast. haha but only one item a day, then I'll add them together at end of week.
I wish to everyone that your day is blessed with a little time for yourself, to just stop and smell the roses, smell the coffee or fresh bread somewhere.. something that brings a smile of a memory back. We are blessed with memories.. so lets take advantage of a sweet one today. :-)
