Clear out your plastic bag clutter, then re-use or recycle them.
How to do it
Are your cabinets and closets packed with plastic supermarket bags? Clear all that clutter and move it out! Gather the bags up and put them by the door to remind you to take them for recycling at the supermarket, or figure out ways to re-use them. Some ideas include packing lunches, containing toys or crafts with small parts, or lining your trash cans.
Why it matters
Clutter of any type makes it hard for us to find what we need and can leave us feeling frustrated. By keeping it out of your cabinets and drawers, things will be tidier and more organized. And by keeping the bags out of landfills, you may make the environment tidier, too. Plastic bags can take up to 1,000 years to degrade - and as they do, they deposit tiny bits of toxic chemicals into our land and water, which can affect our health.
Fun fact
Residents of the city of Glendale, Arizona can drop their plastic shopping bags into special containers for use by local dog owners, who can re-use the bags to pick up after their pooches during walks.

I use them to line my bathroom and kitchen pails. I also use them to carry multiple items to my car.

done
ahead of time, haha
I have a plastic bag drawer (is this weird? i thought everyone else did too!) anyway we reuse them all the time so it just makes sense to keep them rolled up & twisted kind of in a knot/pretzel shape so they're not all over the place"Clear out your plastic bag clutter, then re-use or recycle them"

I line my small garbage cans with them at home. And I bring some to school; it's always helpful to have them around there for students who forget their backpacks. :)

When we get to (what seems like) about a million, we recycle them at the supermarket! ;)

Also use them for rubbish bin liners. Although they are biodegradable, I'm not sure this is so good.
