Set your alarm clock to get you up 15 minutes earlier than usual tomorrow.
How to do it
Set your alarm clock so it wakes you up 15 minutes earlier than usual tomorrow morning. If you typically hit the snooze button, try putting your clock a little further away from your bed, so you have to get up to turn it off.
Why it matters
Mornings are often a crazy whirlwind for many people - but they don't have to be! By giving yourself the gift of a few extra minutes, you'll be able to slow down and stay calm. And mornings that start on an up note can set the tone for the whole day! Who knows, you may even end up with extra time to relax and collect your thoughts before your busy day begins.
The inventor of the alarm clock was a 26-year-old clock maker from New Hampshire named Levi Hutchins. He rose each day at 4:00 and wanted something more exact than the sunrise to wake him.
I actually just set my alarm 1/2 hr earlier than I usually do, because I want to start writing my 'Morning Pages' again ;)
Very interesting fun fact, I'm kind of experienced with this one. But should get better on it, it is kind of sad, to have the cell phone as my wake up call, maybe if i had a fancy one, I could have some cool rings for the waking up part.
I call this time solving the worlds problems. I lay awake thinking and praying for at least 15 minutes most mornings.
Done...on vacation in the Adirondacks...climbing a peak in the AM!
I don't have to set a alarm I'm retired......Wake up about 5am every morning....some mornings I get up and some mornings I just roll over......
I just tell myself when i want to wake up and I do. I am a morning person anyway.
This is getting me ready for a back to school routine.
will do so that I can get ready for the family event of the day.
I always have my alarm set earily.
I do this every day. I think that I need to start even earlier than 15 min ahead some days.
