Set your alarm clock to get you up 15 minutes earlier than usual tomorrow.
How to do it
Set your alarm clock so it wakes you up 15 minutes earlier than usual tomorrow morning. If you typically hit the snooze button, try putting your clock a little further away from your bed, so you have to get up to turn it off.
Why it matters
Mornings are often a crazy whirlwind for many people - but they don't have to be! By giving yourself the gift of a few extra minutes, you'll be able to slow down and stay calm. And mornings that start on an up note can set the tone for the whole day! Who knows, you may even end up with extra time to relax and collect your thoughts before your busy day begins.
The inventor of the alarm clock was a 26-year-old clock maker from New Hampshire named Levi Hutchins. He rose each day at 4:00 and wanted something more exact than the sunrise to wake him.
