In the morning a man walks with his whole body; in the evening, only with his legs. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

LOL..are you kidding..That is the only time I can go walking..I truly live in the deep south..weather is in the high 90's with humidity in the high 100s..Just bottom line early morning is the time that I really enjoy walking. There is a song by a gospel artist Juanita Bynum titled, " Like the Dew in the morning"..There is a stanza that says.." Let your presences gently rested upon my heart" I need your Lord.....http://youtu.be/z2yB5saQ-YI.

An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day. ~Henry David Thoreau ...
have to exercise early in the morning before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.
I have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.
The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.

A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine last year showed that older women who walked regularly were less likely to develop memory loss and other declines in mental function than women who were less active. Those who walked 18 miles or more per week fared best.
According to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, walking helps you maintain a positive outlook, and can make you look and feel younger.
Walking increases the blood flow to the brain. A 1999 study of people over 60 found that walking 45 minutes a day at a 16-minute mile pace increased their thinking skills.

Weird Fact: The Mexican Walking Fish is not only perpetually cute in its long-lasting larval form – it also has the ability to regenerate lost body parts. Despite the name, this little dude is not a fish but a salamander, native to Mexico. It’s also known as the Axolotl (Ax-oh-lot-ul).
The Axolotl is a pretty weird amphibian because it retains its larval form into adulthood – and even becomes sexually mature in this state. This adaptation – neoteny – is often viewed as a backward step in evolution because it means the Axolotl can’t live on land or colonize new habitats.
But Walking Fish are hardy creatures, living 10-15 years, and you can even keep them as pets. Just bear in mind that you shouldn’t handle them much, and they can sometimes be cannibalistic so keeping multiple fellas in the same tank isn’t recommended.

The American Walking Pony is really rather young when compared to many other breeds of pony and horse. The registry, founded by Joan Hudson, wasn't established until 1968. The registry number 1 was assigned to a mare named "Browntree's Flicka." The mare was one of the main ponies used in the development of the breed. The first stallion registered with the association, number 5 in the registry, was named "BT Golden Splendor." The American Walking Pony made quite a name for itself after being featured in many horse magazines; horse lovers from around the world came to catch a sight of this pony as well as others who intended to purchase the animal.

Paleo Fish Taco- Ingredients (makes 8 street style tacos)
    Tortillas
6 egg whites or about 3/4 cup
    4 tablespoons coconut flour
    4 tablespoons almond milk
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    Fish
1 pound fresh cod, bones and skins removed
    1/4 cup lime juice
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cumin
    1 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup shredded reduced fat coconut + 1 teaspoon sea salt
    1 egg, beaten
    Toppings
    Pico de Gallo
    Avocado Crema
    Shredded cabbage Fresh cilantro
Marinate the fish in the lime juice, salt, cumin and chili powder for 6-8 hours.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all of the tortilla ingredients in a small bowl. Let the batter sit for 10 minutes so the coconut flour can soak up some of the moisture, and then whisk again. The batter should be runnier than that of pancakes, about the same as a crepe batter.
Heat a cast iron or non-stick skillet over medium high heat and spray with olive oil or melted butter. Pour the batter into the pan in a circular motion, making the tortilla about the size of a pancake. Give the pan a little turn with your wrist a few times to help the batter spread out evenly and into a thin layer. Keeping the tortillas thin and small helps to make sure the egg taste doesn’t overpower the tacos.
Let the tortilla cook on the first side for about a minute until it starts to firm up. There won’t be air bubbles like when you’re cooking a pancake. Loosen the sides with a spatula then slide it under and flip the tortilla over. If you can’t get your spatula under, try cooking it just a little longer. Cook on the second side for 30 seconds, then remove and set aside on a plate. Continue cooking the remaining batter, spraying the pan in between. Remove the fish from the marinade, and slice it into pieces 4 inches long and about 1 inch wide. Toss the pieces in the egg first, then coat with the coconut and salt. Place the fish pieces on a tray lined with parchment paper, then bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes on each side. Turn on the broiler, and toast each side for a minute to crisp up the breading. Assemble each taco with a piece of fish, pico de gallo, avocado cream, cabbage, and cilantro. Serve with some fresh lime wedges.Enjoy!

A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it,
and hung it up to dry. LOL.

    Good evening all!

Done, I could have put today and not a notation on calendar. Long walk today, oh it did say short walk, so it's on for Saturday so hubby can go with me...he will not go for a semi-long walk. It's been a good day, hope everyone can say the same!

Darshan, dear I kept trying to post and it was in maintenance for what seemed like eternity. Thank you sweetie for the "E" and the push that I needed! I just got caught up in my connection's postings. Thanks again!

Good night to all and have a beautiful day tomorrow! HUGS!
