The only thing I sometimes buy in cans is tomato paste. This time of year we are obviously making our own. The brand of tomato products I buy uses cans that are free of these.

I am getting better about this I actually make a rule about working my way around the outside of the store first then only doing aisles for what I couldn't find an equivocal food of.
Today was rough till about 10 I gave up on work went home and applied to about 15 jobs..... life is too short to hate yourself because of your job.

I never get canned food, except, my Amy's Organic soups. I am having soup as I type, because it fills me up and is delicious!

Can't believe we finished our pact! It's gone so quick!
Well done for hardly ever buying canned foud, I must admit I am guilty of having bought sweetcorn and fruit in cans but will definitely avoid those in future.

Now this will be a hard one of hubby and I. That's about all I can say. BPA is just about in everything, including the lids of those glass jars! http://organicgrace.com/nod... This is a very interesting read.
So unless you have all fresh or frozen veggies/fish/beans, we are all out of luck!
Now that this challenge has really put me down, its time to go out and have some fun! After all just had the girls put in positions that they haven't been in over two years. Now I remember why!
Hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday.
On a good note ... have 23 new little peeps down in my basement keeping themselves nice and warm.

I felt really down about this challenge too, Wanda. I figure we can't avoid the BPA's altogether, but we can try to reduce as much as possible and whenever possible.

This is true Elke, trying to avoid them as much as possible. However have a stock pile of can veggies and other food in the basement for the times we have long power outages due to mother nature.

We don't buy alot of canned foods anyway, so this really is not an issue.
