Daily Challenge Saturday Aug. 18, 2012
Emotional Health focuses on daily experiences related to happiness, enjoyment, sadness, and stress in evaluating overall well-being.
Find out 1 new piece of information about someone you have a close relationship with.
How to do it
It's easy to think that we know everything about the people in our lives. But we don't. Today, find out one new piece of information about a family member, co-worker, or friend. If you've known this person for a while, it may take time to think of something you don't know. But don't let him or her off the hook! What is your child's favorite letter? What book is your friend currently reading? Who taught your spouse how to ride a bike? What was your co-worker's first job? Be a detective and ask the questions!
Why it matters
By asking someone in your life about his or her interests, dreams, and memories, it will help strengthen your relationship. Not only are you demonstrating that you care, but you are more likely to share information about yourself. What book are you reading? Who taught you to ride a bike? This connection and sharing of personal experiences creates trust and helps to maintain healthy relationships.
Twenty Questions, a game in which one person has 20 chances to find out the answer, began in the United States. It was most popular in the late 1940s, when it was part of a weekly radio program.

It's Amazing how much you can learn about your friends, even after 5-10-20+ years~just a simple IM, text, Facebook msg, call, VM msg... Everyone seems so busy nowadays but a little conversation... it's great to talk & Connect/Share... Thanks for the Challenge ;)

My son introduced my to Linkin Park. This group is pretty darn good. Like my ole days of Matellica. I love the song "in the end , I tried so hard and come so far". Some where I belong. I trusted you." Shoot,, I went a got a used cd of them Live in Texas, and yes they are like Matellica. They can sing in concert as well as in the studio. That is what makes Singers ,,, Real singers. Not like GunsnRoses. Poor old Axel could NOT hold a note to save himself. They were "polished" in studio. What you got on tape is not what you got in concert. I would go see Linkin Park. but still my Bucket list is Matellica. This I never knew about my son until this past TUESDAY. BOY OH BOY HE IS GROWING UP. WOW.

I just found out that someone I'm close to is going to Landmark Forum. I think it will be good for him. I hate to sound like an insensitive guru type but he needs a new story and this will give it to him. Glad that he's willing to do some reflection. Finally. He's in his 70's so it's about time.
