Oh...I had a wonderful experience doing this, while viewing the sunset as a passenger on a motorcycle. It was 'heavenly'!

When we look up, it widens our horizons. We see what a little speck we are in the universe, so insignificant, and we all take ourselves so seriously, but in the sky, there are no boundaries. No differences of caste or religion or race. ~Julia Gregson
Now, if God made the clouds so beautiful, did He not mean us to gaze upon them and be thankful for them? ~Alfred Rowland
The sky is that beautiful old parchment in which the sun and the moon keep their diary. ~Alfred Kreymborg
You must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds. ~Henry David Thoreau
I'm truly so very blessed to receive so many encouraging words today. My heartfelt thanks to Deiree F., Judig V., Irene W., Brigitte B., Mom C., and Cherine K.
I started a new track today, "Pleasant Pauses." It's been a roller coaster ride of late, and I needed something light and pleasant. DC has delivered! I'm a sky-watcher and have been since childhood, while resting beneath my favorite cottonwood tree on the farm! The sky can tell a story, predict the coming day, and take us on just the ride we need at any particular moment!
I try to commune with nature as often as I possible, putting my day to rest as I watch the sky's reflection dance and fade into the shimmering lake....
Blessings to all for a day of grace and joy! Soli Deo Gloria!

I ♥ the big sky! Tonight I was rewarded as well the clouds looked like 2 ASL letters C on the left and O on the right. The backdrop was a pink/orange sunset! It was gorgeous! Thanks for the suggestion!

The sky was a lovely, cloudless blue this afternoon. I love looking at the sky; it is something I do regularly. I especially love the constellations in the night sky, or looking for shooting stars.
Happy day 3, Karen!

I love the night sky too, don't know too much about it, but have a few favorites!

Did this tonight when I got home from work and looked at the stars.

I did this challenge in the morning. Think I'll go out and look at the stars now.

No stars where I live tonight - the sky has been overcast all day, so it wasn't a good day for this challenge. I'm glad you had stars to look at!

How nice! Cloudy again today so probably no stars for us either.

I will have to try this one again tomorrow, as tonight the sky is so overcast there isn't a star to be seen. This morning was also overcast - no single clouds to look at, but just a dull gray sky. I wish we had gotten a good rain instead of just a few small drops.

I still look at the clouds and try to find animals and other things. It would be nice to be able to look at the clouds and stars while lying in bed! We got a nice rain yesterday afternoon and this morning was very foggy.

Done.bautiful blue sky today. I am having issues with technology today. Hope this posts. Hey Nancy, I'll try to stop by later, we're almost there.

Since I work outside, I look up at the sky a lot. But, to just sit and imagine, I only do that in the quiet morning hours or late evening hours. Kind of warm, today, to just look up. Want to get inside, lol, as soon as I can. It puts you in a different state of mind, though, when you can just sit a while and look. I will try this, again, over the weekend.
Everyone have a great evening.

I looked at the sky driving home from work (30 minutes). This is the first day this week that it wasn't pouring rain or storming. It was a perfect blue sky with those big, white, puffy clouds that are easy to find shapes in. I saw a pretty pair of lips, a rooster, and a couple of faces.

:o) Just remember to watch out for other drivers who might be doing the same thing!

This is always a fun thing to do. It's amazing what you can "see" if you let your imagination roam.
