HAHA ... another silly one. I actually enjoyed this today. I thought it was going to feel really stupid when I read it this morning, but I did it on my way home from work and had so much fun with it =) You all should try it. For those not in the track, I'll paste the "how to" onto the end of my post. Worth the try =)
Carol, another pact bites the dust for us. Thank you for fitting time in to send encouragement. I know how busy things have been for you. Same over here. Even though we weren't in as much contact, it's always a blast!

How to do it
At several places along your walking route, pick two markers a distance apart. For example, you might choose a tree as one marker and a stop sign a few hundred yards away as another; in the city, you might use the start and end of a block as your markers. As you pass the first marker, you become "It." Increase your speed by walking as quickly as you can. Keep your speed up until you "tag" the second marker. Extra points if you pretend someone's chasing you!
Why it matters
Converting a daily stroll into a competitive game - even if you're only competing against yourself - keeps your walk interesting, making it more likely you'll lace up your shoes, even after a busy day at home or work. Playing exercise games like tag provides an added bonus by incorporating intervals into your cardio session. Research shows that intervals, or brief bursts of more vigorous exercise, help you maintain muscle strength and increase cardiovascular fitness better than long endurance sessions. Tag - you're it!

I almost forgot to post ,,, thankfully I was reading the hundreds of emails I've neglected, so it's a lucky thing I made some time for the computer at this moment. Especially for this challenge. This too is something I try my best to pay attention to always. I even do as they suggested and imagine the string lol Although, I learned that trick years ago in Acting and Dance training.
