Good morning everyone. It's wet. I guess we had storms during the night. I didn't hear them.
Day 2 of round 2 Pat. You keep beating me to the encouragement. Thank you for making me feel so special each morning.
Find something from nature, such as a rock, flower, or fruit, and meditate on it for 5 minutes. I count this done. Was already outside, as I do every morning. I need to be in nature multiple times a day, no matter what the weather is.
I need to walk to the store at some point today. I need to pick up coffee before I run out. Also dropping off a second notice to the office. They told me I have to move or pay a rent increase, and get this, they want me to get $100,000 of renters insurance, even though I pay them a fee, on top of rent, for that very thing. So why do I have to give them a written notice? Now, on top of everything, I am looking for a new place to live.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day filled with wishes come true, prayers answered, much joy, peace, and always, love. February 26, 2015 at 13:10 UTC
Happy Wednesday. We've mad it halfway through the week. It's an accomplishment.
Thank you Pat, once again, for being my morning angel. It means so much that you think of me so early in the day. We are off onto day 1 of round 2. Let's set this round on fire!
Take a short walk and focus on your breathing as you do it. This is a done deal several times a day. I just pace in front of the apartment, but it's done.
Crazy weather all over the South. SE Virginia having record snow and cold. Looks like my grand kids will be out of school most, if not all, this week. They were out most of last week. Please, keep utility workers in your prayers. It scares me that my son works in this stuff.
The NE is under the coldest weather on record. My other son is in that. Both areas have the coldest temps and most snow on record. Records have been shattered all over the country. I read an article that said a methane gas field in Siberia may be a big contributor to this weather. Even Florida has had a colder than usual winter. I hope it's a good summer, and next Fall is warmer in the NE. I have a wedding in late October in Connecticut. I don't want the snow and cold they had last year.
Sent out prayers and positive thoughts for everyone I love and care for. *BELIEVE*. Keep praying. Things are happening for the good due to all your prayers. I hope this day brings us all prayers answered, wishes come true, joy, peace, and much love. Have a wonderful day. February 25, 2015 at 12:59 UTC
Good morning everyone. I way over slept! Guess I needed it.
I am so incredibly blessed today. Cathy, Sandy, Tracey, and Pat. You make me feel so special! Thank you all so much for thinking of me.
376 for points Pat. We did very well. I'll send the invite for round 2 after I post.
Special prayers being sent out for Katie today, and her family, as she travels to her brother's funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Extra prayers today for Sandy's daughter. I hope her ribs are healing. Also for Pat's back, and for Roseanna to feel better. I know there was someone else who asked for prayers. I feel bad I can't remember who.
Practice a 2-minute yoga pose in your chair today. I will try this. We'll see how it goes. It isn't a good position for legs and back.
Pretty amazing news for me yesterday. I contacted my immediate supervisor over the weekend. Was wondering why I started with 14 hours last week and lost 5 hours AFTER the schedule was set. Someone in HR made a mistake. That's all I know. Since they did it after the schedule was set, I get paid for those hours! May not be a lot of money, but it matters. I am so thankful!
Sent my morning prayers and positive thoughts out for all those I love and care for. Wishing us all wishes come true, prayers answered, joy and a lot of love. February 24, 2015 at 13:58 UTC
Good morning. Welcome to a new week. Coffee is ready to share.
Day 4 Pat! We are almost halfway through our double pact.
Katie, you are such a doll. Thank you for thinking of me once again. It really does mean so much to know I am thought of so early in the day.
Set a reminder to take 3 belly breaths today. No alarms needed. This is something that I just do. If you were in marching band you learned to breathe from you stomach. It gives you more air.
No dress. Though we have a few more options. The top in the picture is a possibility. It would be in plum, instead of black. A top and skirt is now an option we hadn't thought about. Had a good time though. Considering my daughter and I hate shopping, and I hate trying on clothes.
Wishing everyone a week of wishes come true, prayers answered, much joy, and plenty of love. Just *BELIEVE*. Have a wonderful day everyone. February 23, 2015 at 12:39 UTC
Good morning. Happy Sunday.
I am so blessed by my 3 angels today once again. Pat, Katie, and Roseanna, you made my morning so special.
Pat, we are on Hump Day of round 1 already. Speeding right along.
Close your eyes, listen closely, and be mindful during 1 phone call today. I kind of doubt I'll have any phone calls today. Can I do this while in the car talking to my daughter? We're off to go dress shopping for my dress for Greg's wedding.
Keeping many in my thoughts and prayers today. I can hardly believe the snow totals! Katie had 12 inches as of 7:30 last night. That's crazy! Now ice on top of snow in other areas that already have too much snow. I think everyone is getting one day that will be considered warm this week. I know Connecticut will have temps around 32 on day and back to deep freeze. Stay warm everyone. Be careful!!
My daughter messaged me 15 minutes after I was awake. She's excited about shopping today. I'm not even halfway into my first cup of coffee. When she gets perky she wears you out fast. LOL!
It's a beautiful warm morning. I'm sure we're going to have a good time today. I'll be careful to not over do it.
Morning prayers and positive thoughts have been sent. Wishing everyone a safe day, with wishes come true, prayers answered, plenty of joy, and lots of love. February 22, 2015 at 13:31 UTC
Happy Saturday everyone.
Day 2 and on the go Pat! Hope you're staying warm.
Blessed this morning by Pat, Sandy, and Roseanna. You guys start my day with a smile. It's meas so much to me.
Asking for prayers today for Katie and her family. Some of you know her. She was one of my first connections when I came here three years ago. A few weeks ago, her brother went to the doctor thinking he had a virus. It wasn't a virus. He passed Thursday from stage 4 cancer. I know Katie isn't one to talk too much about these things. Please keep her and the family in your prayers.
Plan to calmly say what's on your mind the next time you are upset, rather than bottle it up. I learned to do this a long time ago, but first be sure it's worth mentioning. Best to let the little stuff go.Stop and think how you want to say it. Give yourself time to calm down.
Sorry I didn't get back to everyone last night. I'll get to everyone today. Alicia decided to pick me up and take me to her house for awhile. Not sure why she was so insistent. We're going out Sunday to shop for a dress for the wedding. Not that I wasn't okay with spending the evening getting all sorts of puppy loves. We just hung out, which was nice.
Heading to the store today in the beautiful sunshine. It's already warmer than it's been all week. We'll be getting a few more cold days, not quite as cold, later in the week. I'm thankful for these warm days.
Morning prayers said. Positive thoughts sent. May today bring us all wishes come true, prayers answered, joy, and peace. Have a wonderful day. February 21, 2015 at 14:21 UTC
Good morning. TGIF! So glad this week is over.
Day 1 Pat. We are on our way!
Use a touchstone, such as a ring or watch, to bring your thoughts to the present moment today. This isn't a challenge. I have a ring that was given to me I wear everyday for this reason. It helps me in many ways.
Oh my goodness it is cold! 24 with wind chill of 15. No where near as cold as some people. Hampton Roads, Virginia, has the coldest day they have seen in 120 years. PLEASE keep the utility workers in your prayers today. While we are warm and cozy, they are out making sure we have the services we need. If you see them out, take them hot chocolate or coffee. Yes, I am a bit partial. My oldest son has to be out in that cold.
Before anyone wonders, I did go out. I go outside every morning, no matter the weather. It's something I need to do.
Stay warm everyone. Be careful. Remember how quickly you can get frost bite.
Morning prayers have been sent. Positive thoughts as well. I wish us all a day of wishes come true, prayers answered, joy, and love. Stay warm and safe. February 20, 2015 at 12:37 UTC
