The Daily Challenge enhanced my life and provided cherished friendships. A few DCers created a strong connection tagged as The Sixters, but there are 7, 8, 2, 3, 4... ♥ We met together as a group in May 2013 in DE, and have been to SC and PA since. Make the most of this site, support in daily doing, and in friendships!
Jane... Thank you for the memory of happy breakfasts.
I eat with my hands a lot so touch is usually involved. The texture of food is important to me too. Now to practice for sight with presentation as Laura B. Has down pat; my hubby is great a presentation. I'd sure enjoy if he ever decided to take up cooking as a passionate hobby. :)
I did not come up with the photo idea, but thought it creative for snacks on the go; for travel and convenience- kids and adults.
I'm taking a week to clear the bulk of clutter from my past. Then it will be a daily do until 100% complete.
I am going to take 5 minutes to clear clutter from my mind today. It's been a full morning and I am going to refresh in these 5 minutes.
Embrace all that we have in our mindsets, health opportunities and in a smile offered to another.
Melanie - Happy, Joyful Birthday to you. Embrace this special day, week and month celebrating your life. You give freely of goodness. Thank you for the encouragement early this morning. Hope the blizzard brings an element of cozy in all the other downsides of massive snow.
Carol, Thank you for the encouragement. You also be safe in the spring snow fall of Stella. You are a friend rooted in unconditional love. I am (tears popped up) so very grateful for our friendship.
Fortunately for me, my balance is still one of my assets. I like this one. But, I bent forward on my left leg and then the right, repeated a few times and was astonished. My right side was not as rock-solid-steady as my left. Good to know!!!
I need movement having an element of stretching and moving. The TriggerPoint roller is a sure way to produce tears with my muscle and fascia needing attention. My stretching band and the tools are close companions this year.
2017 is for FRESHNESS (my One Word). This involves being obedient to what is upon my heart from the past and upfront clearing of my space. I've talked of "Living Current" for a few years, and it is FINALLY coming to pass under His grace.
I'm going back to clearing away all things from all rooms, closets, draws, nooks and crannies that are unwelcoming, not needed or do not have a specific place that I can remember. So far, 5 bags of trash and 5 boxes giveaway. After growing multi-ways these past six year, it's time to return to being me in the ways of healthy living with organization and efficiency. I needed the spiritual depth, and am ever thankful for what has transpired, and know getting back to my roots is good for me and my long-term health. Being obedient to my heart convictions by "running the play" that has been waiting is already a blessing.
Lily is working hard in her school studies, moving rank in Taekwondo and continues to teach me how to have fun in our daily doing. Thank you for continually keeping her in your prayers for ever growing Godly wisdom, discernment, and remembering she is a daughter of the Most High around all people and in all situations.
Not sure how I popped back on DC, but can't let the opportunity pass me by.
Blessings over you and enjoy the long weekend.
I absolutely am a fan of my eye doctor. After seeing 15 doctors over two years, he was able to cure my eye problems with a prescription. He then did my "lasik", or whatever it was called at the time, and I can still see distance near 20/20 fifteen years later. I see him every two years right now with my eye health being great. Praises.
Photo: Christina Blakey. I met her in 2005 while in Hawaii. She is a chef, and her creations are wonderful. She also has a brilliant eye for photography. I'm hopeful for her to be published. A great gal.
- Michelle E. is taking time away from Daily Challenge and will be back on February 17, 2017.
I apologize. I'm taking a break. I'm not commenting on your individual posts. We had a long day. Court. Hours. All good as I trust my good, good Father and know He orchestrated Lily's rescue in 2012 and she is under His wing. I did read the posts you left with me. I'm blessed. Thank you. And I read your posts. I love you gals. I may miss March. It's smack dab in Spring Break and I may be hanging with Emily this year. Hugs. Joy. Be blessed.
