The Daily Challenge enhanced my life and provided cherished friendships. A few DCers created a strong connection tagged as The Sixters, but there are 7, 8, 2, 3, 4... ♥ We met together as a group in May 2013 in DE, and have been to SC and PA since. Make the most of this site, support in daily doing, and in friendships!
Not sure how I popped back on DC, but can't let the opportunity pass me by.
Blessings over you and enjoy the long weekend.
I absolutely am a fan of my eye doctor. After seeing 15 doctors over two years, he was able to cure my eye problems with a prescription. He then did my "lasik", or whatever it was called at the time, and I can still see distance near 20/20 fifteen years later. I see him every two years right now with my eye health being great. Praises.
Photo: Christina Blakey. I met her in 2005 while in Hawaii. She is a chef, and her creations are wonderful. She also has a brilliant eye for photography. I'm hopeful for her to be published. A great gal.

I apologize. I'm taking a break. I'm not commenting on your individual posts. We had a long day. Court. Hours. All good as I trust my good, good Father and know He orchestrated Lily's rescue in 2012 and she is under His wing. I did read the posts you left with me. I'm blessed. Thank you. And I read your posts. I love you gals. I may miss March. It's smack dab in Spring Break and I may be hanging with Emily this year. Hugs. Joy. Be blessed.
Laura and Jane, Thank you for the ENCOURAGEMENT today. :) ♥
The photo is from my favorite Valentine card. The words lifted me, and I wrote them down. They are on my fridge!
I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine's. It is not on my list of great holidays, but this year was a Best-Ever. Nothing fancy came about, but love was over-flowing and brought unexpected grace and goodness to my heart. God cares about the little things and prepares us for our must-do journey.
Unplugging - this does my mind great! I basically turn of my computer on Sundays, then I can't accidentally sit down and take up with my keyboard without thinking it through. My phone is easy to put down, and easy to pick up for WWF.
I went from RARELY looking at any news at all, to scanning headlines and articles daily due to the disheartening state of our country's outlandish outcry of hate, ugly opposition and the shattering of an elected office that used to natural come with respect and honor. Our country is heavy on my heart and I am drawn to read and pray. These bouts of reading had to dwindle, but not the prayer, and FB time is limited.
Life is great with my hub and Lily, despite circumstances of finances and a tenacious thorn still in my side in the form of a daughter that currently acts out to "win" and does so with a vengeance. Prayerful for her lovely and caring heart to emerge and relationship restoration to take place because all things are possible through our supernatural Father of abundance and majesty. Emily is doing good with her health and loves freely. Casey rides under an umbrella of blessings, all superb in her life. Caz and Lauren are in a busy season with Lauren finishing her RN nursing degree.
I can do ALL things THROUGH Christ, and I am nothing without Him. I will not grow wear in DOING GOOD for His will, His Glory and for Lily's well-being.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year's
Blessings, Joy and Delight as the freshness greets us.
Love is powerful.
Let us... Smile. Be kind. Be patient.
In honor of my mom and Christmastime, I am sharing a photo of her I really enjoy seeing. She looks serene and happy. She made Christmas perfect every year of my life while she was in this earth. Now she has no tears and is surrounded by the glory of our good, good Father.
Merry Christmas! Blessed and abundant New Year to each of us.
Healthy Hot Drink - Hibiscus Tea.
Favorite hot drink, cream in hot water with a bit of vanilla stevia.
Jane, thank you for the encouragement the last couple of days. We are going to a party tomorrow afternoon and on the 24th. Christmas time on Christmas day and then celebrate Lily coming home on the 28th with Santa making a special trip for her, and the family Christmas the 29th. New Year's quickly following.
I have been sharing Christmas movies with Lily lately. It has been fun to forget the list of what I NEED to do, and simply sit back and embrace the fun movie time. Hugs and Love.
