For much of my life I was a Library Manager.
Married now for the second time round and between us we have 4 children and 1 grand daughter.
Live a block from the beach on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia and now about to venture to the Clarence Valley in Northern NSW.
No Pacts for me.
List 3 traits of someone you admire.
My dear friend, Tracy-Lee is a delight.......and just three things I love about her are
1. She nurtures and maintains friendships like no-one else I have ever met. Beautiful hand written cards appear in the mail when you need them the most, long phone calls filled with laughter, support and very often, sound advice........and her hugs are divine!
2. She is a devoted mother to her three daughters.......and particularly to her adult Downs daughters. She actively seeks new ways for her daughter to enjoy life........acting classes, work experiences, travel, painting classes........she actively works with all of the Downs agencies to create better options for the Downs community at large.
3. She is a committed Buddhist..........and her beliefs shine through in everything she does.
This photo is of the table for her 50th birthday..........her special friends were invited for a lavish vegetarian feast that she prepared........and we all were gifted with small tokens of the delight she finds in our company.
Find a picture that represents 1 of your dreams or goals.
This is me when I was "rudely" healthy........just some 6 years ago...........this is what I want to achieve again! Perhaps I should print this out for inspiration.
Write down a skill or subject you know well enough to teach.
I have been told to write and complete this sentence "Because of what I know, I could teach others how to research family history."
Well..........the basics, at least............and I am enrolled to continue my Family History studies though the University of New England starting in July.
Today's photo is of my first ancestor to hit the shores of Australia in 1849, having left Scotland at 18 years old to make his fortune in "the colonies"............this is my maternal great great grandfather who took his family to the Victorian Goldfields, and then to the wilds of Tasmania. He died of miners lung aged 49, leaving a wife and 7 kids.
Use your 5 senses to envision your number-one goal.
I will do some visualisation as we head down to Yamba to try out a new osteopath., before heading to my new favourite Turkish cafe for breakfast.
I have really missed my wonderful Chiro and haven't been able to find one of her caliber, so am now trying an osteo.......wish me luck!
Today's photo is of the beautiful Yamba beach.
Name a friend or family member who can help you achieve 1 of your goals.
My hubby..........he helps me in a multitude of ways.......he cooks, washes, shops.......whatever it is that I need doing whilst I am getting goal stuff done.
And yes.......he made the picnic lunch for when I needed time out!
Imagine yourself 6 months from now, and write down 1 goal you would like to have achieved.
LOL........I did a coaching session on Friday and worked on a 6 month plan to get my health back on track.........serendipity!
Today's photo is tall ships docked at Hobart.
